这个来自西雅图的美丽女人给民谣界带来了不同以往的声音。Rosie Thomas很早就确立了她精致的特点鲜明的曲风，
但直到她加入Velour 100乐队之后才得以成名，Rosie Thomas在这支以Dream-Pop为主的乐队担任主唱，
随后她退出乐队，开始了自己的民谣生涯。2002年的那张《When We Were Small》好评如潮，

70-90年代最受歡迎的德國重金屬搖滾樂團 搖滾精神橫掃全世界
Scorpions早在1965年就以流行樂團之姿涉足樂壇，70年代以後，樂團曲風轉為重搖滾，
並在樂團靈魂人物吉他手亦是創團團員的Rudolf Schenker，以及聲音讓人一聽就難忘懷的主唱Klaus Meine的帶領下，
以狂洩的快速吉他演奏、強力的打擊樂器以及輻射極高能量的演唱風格成為歐洲70年代數一數二的重金屬領導樂團，
主唱Klaus可以飆高到震懾人心地步的歌聲，亦成為Scorpions最著名的代表特色之一。
1979年Scorpions轉換東家發行了「Lovedrive」專輯後，終於開始進軍美國，攫獲樂評與樂迷的矚目。
他們充滿高度張力的現場表演，更是讓他們在巡迴全美演出後的人氣暴漲，
1982年的「Blackout」專輯強勢打入全美專輯榜Top 10之後，他們推出的每一張專輯
在美國都有相當可觀的銷售及排行紀錄，並由此開始擴散到世界各地，甚至是當時相當封閉的蘇俄，
都降服在他們的魅力之下，1988年Scorpions更成為第一支到蘇俄表演的重金屬樂團。
90年代以後的Scorpions則納入更多不同的樂風，一首原本為共產政權垮台的蘇俄所寫的
流行抒情曲"Winds of Change"唱遍大街小巷，樂團也嘗試將藍調、舞曲甚至古典等等各式樂風融入
他們的作品中，他們還曾經與柏林愛樂交響樂團合作過，
一直到現在，Scorpions都還是保持著在求新求變中堅持搖滾精神的重搖滾樂團領導者地位。
