Carolina Liar

乐队Carolina Liar的故事就像是一出好莱坞描写音乐行业的电影剧本。团体核心是来自查尔斯顿的Chad Wolf。Wolf身兼主唱、创作、吉他等多职，深受他姐姐收藏的专辑中New Wave音乐的影响。22岁时，他移居洛杉矶，在那里靠各种奇奇怪怪的工作谋生（包括客串过Celine Dion的一段录影）。最后，他得到一份和歌曲作者Diane Warren一起的实习工作，在那里Diane Warren帮助Wolf改善了写歌技巧。本来故事可能就此打住，不过Wolf那时凑巧答应了帮一个朋友照看房子，而那个朋友又凑巧认识著名瑞典专辑制作人Max Martin。Martin在听了Wolf一首曲子之后，要求听更多他的歌。于是不久，Wolf就进了Stockholm唱片公司录制了一张专辑，幕后是由清一色瑞典人组成的乐队，其中Jim Almgren Gandara与Rickard Goransson负责吉他、Johan Carlsson负责键盘、Max Grahn负责打鼓而Erik Haager负责贝司。之后，乐队取名为Carolina Liar，而Wolf负责主唱部分。乐队于2008年发行首张专辑《Coming to Terms》。
