what is poetry?who knowsz?
not a rose ,but the scent of the rose;
not the sky ,but the light in the sky;
not the sea,but the sound of the sea;
not myself,but what makes me
see,hear,and feel something that prose
cannot:and what it is,who knows?

      music,when soft voices die
                                              percy shelley
music,when soft voices die,
vibrates in the memory-
odours,when sweet voilets siken,
live within the sense they quicken.

rose leaves ,when sweet voilets sicken,
are heaped for the beloved's bed;
and so thy thoughts ,when thou are gone
love itself shall slumber on.

       if i can stop one heart from breaking
                                                   emily dickinson
if i can stop one heart from breaking,
i shall not live in vain;
if i can ease one life the aching
or help one fainting robin
unto his nest again
i shall not live invain .
