[推荐]大家看看,三本好书
I went to ShenZhen for a part-time job.I met an American old man,he was a Phd, he suggested me,a english learner,read this book. Though it was written 175 years ago, but it will help you to understand the culture of America.
Its name is' Democracy in America', it was written by Alex de Tocqueville
it is a great work.

The Phd suggested me buy another book,English Encyclopedic Dictonary.
If you can find this book, buy IT at once.
The old man told me that you could hardly find it in China mainland,Not Even HK.
This book will tell you where did the word come from, what is its original meaning, a lot of thing.
If you can find one, take it, or you will refret. It is named 'Enophobe's Guide to the AMERICANS'
I don't have the website, But I have a copy of it.
The book is written by Stephanie Faul,a freelance writer, editor and journalist.
The old man said he never read a book telling RealEr American than this one.
