Asset Administrator, Hardware Asset Tracking
High Level Responsibilities
• Create new assets in SMS based on orders placed by Order Specialists and informa-tion on completed Equipment Delivery Confirmation (EDC) forms
• Update individual asset records in SMS as a result of move/add/change (MAC) activ-ity
• Contact on-site where full details have not been outlined on the Equipment Delivery Confirmation or MAC forms
• Deactivate assets that are no longer in use, based on information provided by dis-posal groups
• Produce the monthly billing reports for the customers supported, where applicable
• Monitor and action all logged calls within agreed timeframes
• Accurately record the effort involved for updating SMS within the call logging system
• Work with referral groups to resolve incomplete calls referred to the IRM AM call log-ging queue
• File asset paperwork according to documented filing conventions

• N/A
Scope of Accountability
• Monthly Performance Metrics reflect timely asset updates in the database and issue resolution
• Team procedures accurately reflect the activities of the team and are adhered to by the team
• All end-user queries made to the IRM Hardware Asset Tracking team are actioned in a timely manner
• Maintain stability and integrity of the baseline asset records for all trackable assets in the asset database
• Provide Scheduled and Ad Hoc Reporting to the Account
Reporting Line
• Directly to IRM Hardware Asset Tracking Manager and Team Leader
• Support Delivery Teams for the maintenance of data integrity
• Financial Owners regarding asset adds/retirements
• Third parties to the Contract
Desired Experience / Knowledge
• ability to follow work instructions and work unsupervised
• previous asset reconciliation experience
• understanding of reporting
Skills Required
• good communication skills (verbal and written)
• strong Microsoft Excel skills
