Software Designer
Work Location: Guangzhou

•        Software design in GSM, CDMA, UMTS & NGN projects
Requirements:
' |2 j, C8 g5 X3 R8 a1 ]•        Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or other related majors
•        Solid knowledge of, C/C++ or related programming language is a must
1 O/ k# \, _* I/ A: V•        Solid knowledge of OS, such as Unix, Linux or Vxworks, etc.
•        Knowledge of Computer networking is an asset
* \3 w, g5 D; Q; e% d4 u. j•        CET-6 holder preferred with good spoken English

Work Location: Guangzhou
Responsibilities:
# |+ ]& X4 K* X( R* B•        Test/verify Nortel’s CDMA/NGN/GSM/3G UMTS product against specified requirements
7 {4 E  O7 a3 \" [: `( d$ Z•        Find defects in the product so that they are not delivered to the customer
8 n$ ]$ b  Z. Q( M% l5 I; ]5 |$ O•        Support customer testing and/or demonstrations
( @. k; v3 l5 i/ ~9 r- R•        Maintain and manage test bed environment during product test activities
•        Solidify interfaces to other development organizations
Requirements:
•        Bachelor degree or above, major in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
•        Telecommunications technology background (e.g. NGN/ GSM / GPRS networks, CDMA, WCDMA, etc) is preferred
•        Solid knowledge of UNIX, C/C++, Java and IP network is preferred
