Boucher said that good relations between Japan and China are important for regional stability and for the future of both countries.

But Boucher called it ''very regrettable that this one did turn violent'' and ''was not under control.''

''China does have a responsibility to prevent violence against foreign missions in Beijing,'' he said. ''It's important we not allow demonstrations to become violent.''

　　美国国务院发言人鲍彻表示，对于中国、韩国、朝鲜批评日本政府批准教科书，美化侵略的历史，美国重申希望相关各国能和平解决争议，而美国本身不愿意介入争议。

　　鲍彻表示，美国对历史有自己的看法，但不会向日本提起教科书的事。

　　演示文稿会上有国际媒体问到，德国本周举行纪念二战六十周年的活动，对纳粹的历史表现忏悔，日本却相反地美化侵略暴行。鲍彻也完全拒绝评论。

　　美国与日本在二战时为敌，但六十年之后在新的国际局势考量下，美国在争议中反而处处倾向日本，避免为难日本。(莫乃倩、周周)
