Oracle embarked on the China market in 1989 to become the first global software titan to come to China. Oracle now has offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu. In addition, Oracle has set up two research and development facilities in China to develop internet-based solutions specifically to meet the needs of the rapidly growing China market. These centers, located in Shenzhen Software Park and Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park, enable Oracle to work more closely with local partners in developing solutions on Oracle's latest technology to address the unique needs of companies in China.
