中港实习生协会国际精英交换项目（Business Elite Program）毕业典礼暨全球领导者奖学金颁奖仪式于2008年7月8日在香港大学隆重举行，与会者包括香港大学副院长李正仪博士，香港大学金融商业学院副总监何伟文先生，香港大学课程主任徐博士，以及中港实习生协会主席胡子超先生，中港实习生协会副主席梁媛小姐，国际商业精英交换项目全体学生。 成立于2005年的中港实习生协会，与全球各知名学府以及世界500强企业中众多企业都建立了良好的合作交流关系，输送了一批又一批优秀的人才赴港交流实习，积累了深厚的实习交流项目经验，同时也与众多大学，包括斯坦福大学、伦敦大学，哥伦比亚大学、北京大学、清华大学、香港大学等众多著名学府中的优秀学生建立了长期有效的联系和沟通。此次的全球奖学金计划是由中港实习生协会主办，中港实习生协会校友事务及发展委员会资助、香港大学支持下，提供给全球最顶级学府的优秀学生的一项奖学金计划，其宗旨在于鼓励学生参加中外学府间的交流学习，从而使其拓展自身视野，挖掘自身潜力，进一步的实现自身价值。此次，来自清华北大的18位学生荣幸的获得了此次奖学金，并在奖学金的资助下顺利完成了在香港大学的交换学习。 在此次中港实习生协会全球领导者奖学金颁奖仪式上，中港实习生协会主席胡子超先生为国际领导者奖学金致辞时说：“每次看到优秀学生从世界各地远到而来，带着梦想，带着希望，在这里交流，学习，实践，挑战极限，看他们从这里走出去，走进国际金融行业的投资咨询领域，走进世界顶级学府的研究生堂，我们和他们一样的高兴，并且感到由衷的骄傲。” 中港实习生协会推出此次奖学金计划，旨在鼓励学生追求卓越，追求创新，迈出通往国际商业平台的新一步，同时也是体现协会不断鼓励学生提高竞争意识，争取国际间发展机遇的美好展望。中港实习生协会一贯秉承着建立全球高校精英与世界知名企业间桥梁的宗旨，全力为大学生们提供放眼世界、了解世界的机会。在最后结语中，胡子超主席还说：“此次奖学金计划，即是对社会中一批优异的学生的奖励，也是对更多的渴望国际化视野的学生的鼓舞。我们的奖学金计划，将会是一个持续的计划，希望将来能有更多的学生得到这样的机会，得到大公司的认可和支持，这也是我们协会所希望看到的。” 香港大学副院长李正仪博士、中港实习生协会主席胡子超与18名国际领导奖学金获奖者合影 + ]0 l* Q8 X! Why did I choose the University of HK? Hong Kong University is one of the best universities around the world, and it is famous for financial teaching and training. Besides, it has lots of famous professors which draws my attention effectively. Also, because of its long history, it has formedits own characteristics, and therefore it is different from the universities on the mainland, especially the case study, which is rarely emphasized in the teaching process on the mainland, is paid great attention in the HKU. Internationalization is an important factor which made me choose HKU, too. First-class teachers, first-class students, and first-class facilities, all of them appeal me a lot because I believe that only the three factors combined together adequately and effectively, can the best result produced. Last but no least, the independence of associations and the wide communication between universities and corporations attract me a lot. . h- b, t" ?3 z6 N
What I love most about the HKU? What I get from HKU? % X1 R7 C6 d0 i! m1 o
There are several points which can show what I love most about the HKU: first, it is the international environment and the splendid speed of knowledge updating; second, it is the case-study teaching method; third, it is the delicious food which is also not so expensive considering the price level of Hong Kong. Although the program lasts for only two days, I think that I have got a lot of things from the HKU: first, it is the behaviour model needed when taking international courses; second, it is the thinking model of how to solve a problem; third, it is how to seek the independence position of the freedom of an association, and how to function the association in order to connect the bridge between universities and corporations most effectively.
) V# H4 N" w- I8 G5 k. t Why this exchange would shape my career? What’s my exposure?
U2 A% M4 W- w' Q$ b I think that this exchange would shape my career because this is the first time for me to go to Hong Kong for exchange, and since there is a saying “the beginning is the hardest”, I have the confidence, that I can have more chances to go to Hong Kong, even abroad. As far as I am concerned, such kind of exchange is significant for our career development because multinational corporations tend to recruit students with international exchange experience. Meanwhile, this exchange changes my traditional mind of how to combine the corporations and universities together to benefit students more. As the president of the association of the student career development, I used to pay attention to invite people from different corporations to give us a speech or hold a salon scattered and independent, however, this time, I realize the importance of further communication with the high level like managers of corporations to deepen the cooperation. Last but not least, this exchange widens my view of management consultation especially the knowledge of Human Resources and investment bank especially the division of the banks, although I have taken such kind of courses.
