生物工程暨生物医疗仪器中心(CBBD), Nansha Campus, HKUST Fok Ying Tung Graduate School
A new research center for bioengineering and biomedical devices (CBBD) has been established in HKUST's Fok Ying Tung Graduate School since April 2007.
2 \3 [0 Q9 R5 pCBBD’s mission is to engage HKUST faculty members and scientists in applied research activities, particularly with an emphasis to the development of medical devices, advanced sensors and imaging analysis, with industrial partners and academic partners in the Greater Pearl River Delta (GPRD) region. With increasing industrial activities of medical and diagnostic devices in the South China region, CBBD's primary activities, in the first 3-5 years, will focus on the biosensors and medical devices. We aim to train our researchers at the frontier of scientific research and form a solid alliance with existing and future bio- and medical- industries in PRD China.

Research Staff:
Requirements:
1. at least a B.S. degree holder in electrochemical analysis related field.
1 z- K! m9 q) e) _4 }( ~2. 2-3 years' experiences in industrial/academic research activities related to analytical chemistry, biosensors and medical instrumentation would be a plus.
Responsibilities:
1.Execute research and industrial initiatives in the center
2.Maintain close collaboration and interaction with industrial consortium members and industrial partners on various technical issues.
