A Services Engineer provides technical service and support to new and existing
customer networks or internal Ericsson test plants – telecom and datacom. Pl
& f/ F/ M& `9 O' _: B5 h% }ans, designs, troubleshoot and resolves problems in order to stabilise and opt
7 I9 H8 y( }4 i1 @8 Ximise customer networks. Configures and integrates different nodes and solutio
3 s2 v+ p0 J7 }. D2 p4 j, ]ns in new and live customer networks, Delivers Learning services.

1 C  t4 G, g8 D4 KResponsibilities:
All activities performed by a Services Engineer should (normally) be in accord
: `' M8 G" Z' a9 h* U/ y4 z+ [ance to customer contract.
Services Engineer would typically interact with customer technical staff and o
peration managers, service engineers and other groups within Service Delivery
0 P. h3 K5 V% Q& o" horganization. They may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd Party supp
liers and local authorities.
+ f/ b$ G" K; O' z2 ODeliver services within site engineering, integration and/or configuration and
/or support of products and networks in accordance with a customer service con
tract. Services are predominantly delivered in live customer networks.
Create software packages for specific customers to stabilise and optimise thei
r networks, including customisations of interfaces between products.
# L/ r5 d6 y3 \0 I: \Identify faults and troubleshoot these, according to a set of defined alternat
ives, and apply standard resolving processes in the network.
. g2 l2 \$ V/ R' x  zDevelop and design methods, tools and scripts within a defined framework and i
1 f7 [1 e7 O7 ~6 A9 f4 Y! `n accordance to customer requirements.
4 G9 G- f7 O* d0 a' nPlan, design and optimise the network based on the customers' requirements on
& _$ ~  x; }1 v5 ^6 [" b' athe technical functionality.
When applicable, identify add on sales opportunities and address the opportuni
ties to the appropriate function within Ericsson.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above of first level University
Fluent in English/Chinese speaking and excellent in English/Chinese writing
2 i' `- B1 s% n7 x& `  j$ ~Business and management awareness
Strong leadership and communication skill
7 i9 _6 P$ A& N; PStrong customer focus and problem solving skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of technologies
! I5 @/ {: M4 E5 ~+ k) L8 n' p. dWell organized and have structure thinking
+ t7 |/ X* j2 q% c& _Initiative and positive personal personality  
Experience of Ericsson product support. (optional)
Experience of Unix Applications knowledge. SCSA /SCNA certification is most pr
eferred.
$ B; Y; C; W  O6 I: U" JHighly experience of TCP/IP knowledge, CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred.

Highly experience with Datacom products, e.g Router, Lanswitch, Firewall.
