Job Objective:
A Services Engineer provides technical service and support to new and existing
- r  l6 j1 r7 {8 h9 @: U4 v0 R) ucustomer networks or internal Ericsson test plants – telecom and datacom. Pl
/ @% ?6 v! G/ C# D& P+ @) t. Eans, designs, troubleshoot and resolves problems in order to stabilise and opt
. t7 i! S7 D3 m* J1 yimise customer networks. Configures and integrates different nodes and solutio
ns in new and live customer networks, Delivers Learning services.

. M$ ^  M7 x% y3 x4 xResponsibilities:
: w: B3 @0 A: Q* pAll activities performed by a Services Engineer should (normally) be in accord
. p* ^/ i/ u3 S7 @5 A$ p! Aance to customer contract.
Services Engineer would typically interact with customer technical staff and o
peration managers, service engineers and other groups within Service Delivery
2 j5 t% K. r, J# E8 Y7 ?; d6 j( [organization. They may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd Party supp
+ X( p" H, v( x1 e2 lliers and local authorities.
Deliver services within site engineering, integration and/or configuration and
; `2 f# Y4 j, M/ x# X' n/or support of products and networks in accordance with a customer service con
' i6 B' }9 a# i" _  y9 rtract. Services are predominantly delivered in live customer networks.
Create software packages for specific customers to stabilise and optimise thei
r networks, including customisations of interfaces between products.
: d5 k8 i3 W1 X6 h* OIdentify faults and troubleshoot these, according to a set of defined alternat
ives, and apply standard resolving processes in the network.
Develop and design methods, tools and scripts within a defined framework and i
9 q/ f5 X( s! [  D* W9 p5 j3 l& zn accordance to customer requirements.
Plan, design and optimise the network based on the customers' requirements on
the technical functionality.
& ^# p+ ~% \8 r3 j! PWhen applicable, identify add on sales opportunities and address the opportuni
ties to the appropriate function within Ericsson.

Qualifications & Requirements:
' ^* y5 G9 s7 W- f7 \6 LBachelor degree or above of first level University
Fluent in English/Chinese speaking and excellent in English/Chinese writing
, z4 T, U4 ^9 @- n6 d4 `* R! nBusiness and management awareness
Strong leadership and communication skill
* m& D4 V* v4 u( @0 I: a3 J" IStrong customer focus and problem solving skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of technologies
/ E6 J4 y% N8 h0 {# p+ VWell organized and have structure thinking
# y2 `2 p* _; L, Q% h4 j2 zInitiative and positive personal personality  
Experience of Ericsson product support. (optional)
) `6 H: P) L" Z/ T+ zExperience of Unix Applications knowledge. SCSA /SCNA certification is most pr
/ f5 e* d0 n, yeferred.
Highly experience of TCP/IP knowledge, CCNP/CCIE certification is preferred.
