We are organizing an innovative activity for kids in China: a large-scale
" P9 Y. U6 b0 N5 o( ~# C# D- Dsummer camp for learning English using phonics. Here is summary of what is

. c; a5 [7 F# x% V3 f1. The Camp will host up to 1000 students ranging from age 8 to age 16, . Q/ Q/ P- ^ H; v# F5 b
mostly from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, but some from other areas in
- X8 Q; [% N- W; r1 s6 RChina. Campers will live in the Camp for 21 days. The camp is planned to be
: U* \4 F* w8 L# T, H; Q( E7 X" Ifrom July 17, 2005 through August 6, 2005.3 I' s- P( u$ \8 p5 n5 o8 Z
4 M" e1 V: ?; v. S# s8 r, x* A0 d4 Y2. We invite you from English speaking nations to act as team leaders and " r R7 q# X. ~7 l0 z8 ]

: j* @5 s$ b# \3 J$ Y3. Tutors will organize and direct kids to learn English language by

like story telling, poetry, discussions of their colleges, and outdoor

The location of the Camp will be a nice hot spring resort in Qingyuan, north + P, s& J' B; W& y9 T
of Guangzhou. The International Culture Exchange Center of the Guangzhou
7 }8 G6 q! y0 N* ]$ W8 wMunicipal Government will oversee and advise the camp activities. All , i3 E) g; I& u8 T
necessary procedures and measures will be taken to protect the safety of the
4 H( [2 Z. R Vcamp and the health of the participants.

teachers with majors in performing arts, education, language, and other
; O7 @3 d# ^/ a8 Hhumanities to help us with this event as group leaders and tutors. This is a
