What You Need To do: Lead English Camp in China

We are organizing an innovative activity for kids in China: a large-scale
# v" o9 D$ `& o5 d, Ssummer camp for learning English using phonics. Here is summary of what is
1 i) [" B& R/ Y, bgoing to happen at the Camp:
0 G) K1 F2 @- \7 g* n4 u( v/ x! K" _6 e8 p9 k
1. The Camp will host up to 1000 students ranging from age 8 to age 16,
, u$ H) R& M+ Y4 a8 \& X' O3 W+ s. tmostly from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, but some from other areas in 4 c) A0 |( g( n+ u" O1 \
China. Campers will live in the Camp for 21 days. The camp is planned to be ! x4 l) o% J' p4 s3 E
from July 17, 2005 through August 6, 2005." A' Y- u7 F1 M% Y
! k! [# Z2 ~3 S0 {6 b4 v% e( T6 `; W2. We invite you from English speaking nations to act as team leaders and
- L9 W+ I* u# R5 C5 B5 ~! U9 `tutors for these kids.

0 e1 M6 e/ e8 E+ i3 \- V( l3. Tutors will organize and direct kids to learn English language by

like story telling, poetry, discussions of their colleges, and outdoor

The location of the Camp will be a nice hot spring resort in Qingyuan, north

Municipal Government will oversee and advise the camp activities. All % ~2 Y' n% B9 e5 E4 W1 O' y7 Z
necessary procedures and measures will be taken to protect the safety of the
7 k1 f; j; x4 }# xcamp and the health of the participants.% c# F6 g$ J% r& `' O/ L

We are now inviting native English speakers such as students from colleges
9 n6 B, v" y+ D: d" o0 @preferably at 3rd and 4th year and graduate level, and teachers or retired : u- R1 D2 u/ s6 R0 C, A5 m2 f. K' S
teachers with majors in performing arts, education, language, and other
& x% J3 ]0 k. b! `* P2 _humanities to help us with this event as group leaders and tutors. This is a 5 P6 K% I3 K4 L( @
low-budget event, but we will cover expenses of room and board, plus some
, w0 b9 y* ]+ v2 j1 knominal compensation(includ round-trip transportation, local
