retired teachers who are native English speakers. Teachers, college students

We are organizing an innovative activity for kids in China: a large-scale
- `% j p8 P; Asummer camp for learning English using phonics. Here is summary of what is
; z) \5 z7 C7 dgoing to happen at the Camp:

$ W$ W6 z( e- _' n* w1. The Camp will host up to 1000 students ranging from age 8 to age 16, ; l$ S9 }: U, Y
mostly from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, but some from other areas in & u8 q3 Z/ A. D% G) T( {
China. Campers will live in the Camp for 21 days. The camp is planned to be
7 {; T' }( E3 v2 Z; \3 z. o3 yfrom July 17, 2005 through August 6, 2005.

2. We invite you from English speaking nations to act as team leaders and 3 |' \0 o" n. P9 `. k1 K4 k
tutors for these kids.

& X I9 N$ `# w- ^% L) A3 Y3. Tutors will organize and direct kids to learn English language by

like story telling, poetry, discussions of their colleges, and outdoor - L7 s- o% x% D- e( f' a. r9 r6 b

) G6 U9 N" o# d1 Q7 M; |3 u7 L) bThe location of the Camp will be a nice hot spring resort in Qingyuan, north
% K3 u6 g( E) Cof Guangzhou. The International Culture Exchange Center of the Guangzhou
+ C; y7 Q( g4 {1 Q6 IMunicipal Government will oversee and advise the camp activities. All 5 c V) A6 B5 u4 g/ }* m# H
necessary procedures and measures will be taken to protect the safety of the , v* h* ^4 R; R- j5 {6 | q G, b5 h

preferably at 3rd and 4th year and graduate level, and teachers or retired
