其实我想知道这样翻译行不行……

介词几乎是不知道怎么用的

不过这样翻译不出“宁愿”的意思 所以还是rather...than 的句型比较好
直接cheat就行了 不用make a cheat这么麻烦 Chinglish了

其实用understand 也是可以的，但用figure out 会更英式么？

今天碰到另一个有趣的词组——Whistle for    吹哨召唤(休想得到)
百度下更形象的有whistle for a wind——吹口哨唤风
——做办不到的事
例句：You surely did not expect to reach any ***d end in this way. You might as well whistle for the wind.
像这样下去你一定不会有什么好结果的。你简直是在吹哨求风哩！
