& o; ^; k4 O# l/ O" i嘉宾：Dr. Yuping Lu ( 吕玉平 博士 )
Dr. Yuping Lu joined Syngenta Biotechnology (China) Co. Ltd ( SBC ) in last December as Section Head in charge of research program. Before Syngenta, Dr. Lu, since early 1998, had almost 10 years employment as scientist, senior scientist and senior manager of molecular genomic technologies at Ceres, Inc. a plant biotech company based in California, United States. His major role at Ceres was managing group(s) for the novel gene discovery and gene function validation. He conducted his research as postdoc at Dept. of Biology, University of Pennsylvania from 1994-1998, and National Laboratory of Plant Molecular Genetics, Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology, CAS, from 1993-1994. He received his degree of PhD of plant molecular genetics from Beijing (China) Agricultural University, in 1993 and BS from Huazhong Agricultural University in 1986. Up to date, He have published over 10 papers in peer review journals of Plant Cell, PNAS, JBC, Annual Review of Plant Physiology, etc. and over one dozen of PCT patents.

9 C' \6 E& K) w0 a# f  EMs. Erica Wang is responsible for all aspects of HR strategy and operations in Syngenta Biotechnology (China) Co. Ltd ( SBC ). Prior to joining Syngenta, Erica worked in NCR China for eight years in the areas of HR field support, Learning and development, Staffing, and HR partner for Financial Solution Division, North Asia.
