The Restaurant Marketing Associate will be located in Guangzhou and work for Vaastu, a date with India by assisting with marketing/public relations.
RMA responsibilities include:
Essential functions:

+ O( `( d5 T) [•        Working with the Director to create a marketing plan
•        Executing the marketing plan
•        Engaging media and hotel concierges with a well-developed promotion strategy
3 C/ ^3 a/ s  g, C* S•        Monitoring effectiveness
& Q8 T4 T# D/ N9 J. {•        Building relationships within the community (Some have done this by distributing flyers at community events, distributing food and catering menus to local businesses, setting up cross-promotions and school programs, as well as involving Vaastu in community-wide events.)
•        Complete graphic design work such as business cards, menu, sign board printing and installation.
2 d% B" f$ D& D. [. f* D+ O•        Create and manage all restaurant catering emails and hotel invitations from conception to email launch.
; ?$ w8 H# b" W7 `# _•        Ability to professionally interact with guests and senior executives (both internal and external). Train on key topics pertaining to marketing.
•        Oversee management and create annual strategy for Social Media (local & foreign) which includes monthly promotions to build the fan base.
" @# ?9 R6 p" Z7 t" n+ c- C•        Coordinate and execute the quarterly Surprise and Delight campaign for our VaastuSelect members.

* Act as liaison with other departments to provide assistance with miscellaneous requests
* Collateral copy proofing and text editing
* General administrative support, to include set up of conference calls, ordering supplies, submission of monthly expense reports and coordinate internal & external meetings

•        Specific hours vary depending on the task to be accomplished. (e.g. may occasionally involve Saturday work for birthday parties or evenings for Kid’s Nights)
