The Restaurant Marketing Associate will be located in Guangzhou and work for Vaastu, a date with India by assisting with marketing/public relations.

•        Working with the Director to create a marketing plan
•        Executing the marketing plan
* ?" ~& l$ y. M( ?) U! `•        Engaging media and hotel concierges with a well-developed promotion strategy
8 n) u8 d- |8 x/ J2 ~0 h•        Monitoring effectiveness
. v2 H+ W. J# \/ O# y) `" R•        Building relationships within the community (Some have done this by distributing flyers at community events, distributing food and catering menus to local businesses, setting up cross-promotions and school programs, as well as involving Vaastu in community-wide events.)
2 ~5 ~! n0 s. M•        Complete graphic design work such as business cards, menu, sign board printing and installation.
•        Create and manage all restaurant catering emails and hotel invitations from conception to email launch.
2 D" O& Y0 N+ R, J•        Ability to professionally interact with guests and senior executives (both internal and external). Train on key topics pertaining to marketing.
4 m( C. k8 e' I•        Oversee management and create annual strategy for Social Media (local & foreign) which includes monthly promotions to build the fan base.
- j* C) q( }/ Z0 K( ^! P) q+ Y•        Coordinate and execute the quarterly Surprise and Delight campaign for our VaastuSelect members.

Secondary functions:
* Assist with budget management
; q3 A9 P: U4 x# ]0 g& d3 `* Act as liaison with other departments to provide assistance with miscellaneous requests
) V1 Q( Z0 ~0 _1 p( z* Collateral copy proofing and text editing
% \; Y4 Z  G5 G2 Y/ b* General administrative support, to include set up of conference calls, ordering supplies, submission of monthly expense reports and coordinate internal & external meetings
/ }: F0 _. X) l( O- ?* Coordinate events for all marketing functions. Ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
* Perform additional assignments and projects as required


•        Job Characteristics:
•        Specific hours vary depending on the task to be accomplished. (e.g. may occasionally involve Saturday work for birthday parties or evenings for Kid’s Nights)       
•        Outside Sales or previous marketing experience is a plus.
