     Eagles(老鹰)乐队是美国七十年代最成功的乐队，走的是一条从 “乡村摇滚” 到 “纯摇滚” 的路线，曲调起伏不大，但显得极为顺畅，旋律相当优美，尤其是早期还经常使用一种班卓琴，极富乡村特色，美国最杰出的摇滚乐队之一。

     乐队的每张专辑都较好也叫座，唱片销售额已近４亿美 元，他们的每一张专辑的销量都超出金唱片的销量（即五十万张）。尤其是乐队于１９７６年底推出的专辑 Hotel California《加洲旅店》被誉为七十年代美国最重要的专辑唱片。
