Sue Barker presents coverage of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and the eyes of the world will be on the city's Bird's Nest stadium for the start of one of the greatest shows on earth. The Chinese have promised to stage a fantastic spectacle at what is widely seen as China's 'coming out party' and Huw Edwards, Hazel Irvine and Carrie Gracie will also cover all the glitz, glamour and pageantry, alongside the parade of teams.
