We are organizing an innovative activity for kids in China: a large-scale
: \ b& C9 {% U7 t$ k; asummer camp for learning English using phonics. Here is summary of what is + \% W0 o0 p, ?/ g, g; T
going to happen at the Camp:

' c& Q( `6 ?4 ], W% P1. The Camp will host up to 1000 students ranging from age 8 to age 16,
' r# k* F9 X1 j5 _mostly from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, but some from other areas in
7 q4 E# |* [+ J- C; uChina. Campers will live in the Camp for 21 days. The camp is planned to be ' V0 ~' J5 x* Q9 [
from July 17, 2005 through August 6, 2005.

- s1 W7 [* ?% ^6 o& Q8 x2. We invite you from English speaking nations to act as team leaders and 5 B) I. S8 r* L; E. g: d, Y. q
tutors for these kids.

3. Tutors will organize and direct kids to learn English language by

like story telling, poetry, discussions of their colleges, and outdoor 5 H% [3 Y% h# }4 n' n

& E* D, F- q! F5 y s* mThe location of the Camp will be a nice hot spring resort in Qingyuan, north 6 h+ `9 |6 e6 ^, V# D
of Guangzhou. The International Culture Exchange Center of the Guangzhou : U; p6 n) a% t& B" m7 `- a
Municipal Government will oversee and advise the camp activities. All
* W3 h5 O3 \; R$ U. b' u5 cnecessary procedures and measures will be taken to protect the safety of the 2 k# S; }) f, S+ B/ \

% L ~( T- u7 Mpreferably at 3rd and 4th year and graduate level, and teachers or retired

humanities to help us with this event as group leaders and tutors. This is a
