China, India, Brazil and South Africa will attend part of the G7 finance ministers meeting this week, British finance minister Gordon Brown said on Monday.
Finance ministers and central bankers from the Group of Seven industrialised nations will gather in London on Friday and Saturday to discuss the world economy, exchange rates and trade.
The extra meeting under the British presidency will pay tribute to Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan who steps down in January after 18-years of running the U.S. central bank.
Greenspan will make a major speech on Friday. |
