我们遇到惊讶的事情时，一般会说：Oh my God, Jesus Christ, My goodness等等。

今天碰到一个说法，叫“I’ll be a monkey’s uncle!”

这种说法的由来与达尔文的进化论有关。1859年，他的《物种起源》一书出版，书中“人与猴子出自共同的祖先”这一说法让人们惊讶不已。于是，有人惊讶地说，“I’ll be a monkey’s uncle”（那我就是猴子的叔叔了）。后来，这种说法就变成了人们表达惊讶的方式。

THE LIFE
God wakes up, feels the world is too empty. Then creates donkey, dog, monkey and human being.

Looking at these lives, God is very glad:” I can give all of you 25-years long life, is it ok?”

Donkey says :” oh, my God, I am drived all my life, eat grass and whipped. It is a disaster to stay in the world for 25 years. Pls give me a life only 10 years long.

God accepts donkey’s requirement.

Next is dog:” my God, I have to eat leftover, being kicked, and look after houses, 25 years is also too long for me, can I live only 10 years?”

God also accepts.

Then is monkey. He weeps:” my God, I am toyed with， spited by people, how can I live longer than 10 years?

God agrees.

At last, it is human being’s turn:” oh, my God, I am King of creations, your honest servant, only 25-years life, too short, it isn’t long enough for me.

God glances at him and says impatiently:” then give you their balanced life.”

Therefore, for human being, the beginning 25 years is his own life. happy, next is donkey’s 15 years, being drived to work hard for supporting his family; after that is 15 years from dog, take care of his family and outcome from being stolen; The last 15 years is donkey’s 15 years, at that time, he is old, useless, being given up by children and toyed with by grandsons.

上帝創造了驴子並告訴牠︰
你將從早到晚不停的工作，背負重物。
你只能吃草，你將不會擁有智慧。
你有50年的壽命，你是一只驴子！

驴子回答說︰我是只驴子，
但活50年太久了，讓我活20年就好了！
於是上帝給了牠20年的壽命

上帝創造了狗並告訴牠：
你必須替人類看家，你是人類最忠實的朋友，
你只能吃人類給你的任何東西。
而你可以有25年的壽命，你是一隻狗！

狗回答說：活25年太久了，

但组合却很是丑陋，远没有这个参考那么漂亮……
